NCA Competitive Youth Teams (U11-U14)

The North Clackamas Alliance is dedicated to providing comprehensive opportunities for youth teams aged U11 to U14. Here’s how our program is structured throughout the seasons:

Fall and Spring Seasons (OYSA Registration): All youth teams within the North Clackamas Alliance are registered in the OYSA fall and spring seasons. Teams are placed in divisions based on previous season results, with a strategic goal to challenge teams for optimal development.

Summer Tournaments: During the summer months, teams participate in 1-3 tournaments within the local area. The selection of tournaments is determined by the coach and is based on the team’s availability and readiness.

Fall Season (September to October): The fall season kicks off the weekend after Labor Day and continues through the end of October. At the conclusion of the fall season, teams will be placed in either the OYSA Presidents Cup or Founders Cup based on their performance.

Winter Futsal Leagues: Many youth teams within NCA enter futsal leagues during the winter season, providing additional opportunities for skill development and competitive play.

Spring Season (January to April): Spring practices resume in mid to late January, with games starting either the last week of February or the first week of March. There are no games scheduled the weekends before or after Oregon Schools Spring Break, with the season concluding at the end of April.

By participating in these structured seasons and tournaments, youth teams in the North Clackamas Alliance receive a well-rounded and challenging soccer experience that fosters growth, development, and a love for the game.

NCA High School Teams (U15-U19)

High School Program: Elevate Your Game

The North Clackamas Alliance High School program is meticulously designed to propel players towards collegiate-level play while actively facilitating exposure to college recruitment opportunities. Are you ready to ascend to the next level? Here’s what we, and colleges, are looking for from NCA players:

  1. Off-Ball Engagement: Stay actively involved in the game, even when not in possession of the ball. Show your ability to impact the game consistently, regardless of the score or your teammates’ actions.

  2. Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills with coaches, teammates, and parents. Clear, concise communication fosters teamwork and cohesion on and off the field.

  3. Positive Attitude and Responsibility: Be a positive, responsible, and autonomous individual before, during, and after games. Your attitude and actions contribute to the overall team environment and success.

  4. Academic Excellence: School participation and academic success are paramount. We prioritize well-rounded student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom.

Program Timeline:

  • Practices commence in May and continue throughout the summer until the first week of August, coinciding with tournament and showcase events.
  • Players are released after their last summer tournament to join their high school teams from August to mid-November.
  • Upon completion of their high school seasons, players return to NCA practices toward the end of November, typically with 2-3 sessions per week.
  • The season officially kicks off in January and extends through March, with OYSA Cup play taking place in April.

Join us in the North Clackamas Alliance High School program and unlock your potential on and off the field. Prepare for collegiate opportunities while honing your skills, communication, and leadership abilities in a supportive and competitive environment.
