Requirements

• Fee: A $25 non-refundable tryout fee is due upon registering for tryouts.
• Financial Obligations: Any player accepting a position on a team for the upcoming season must not have any outstanding balance owed to the club. All previous dues must be paid in full.
• Regional/District Eligibility:
  • Only those who attend North Clackamas School District (NCSD) schools or live within NCSD boundaries are automatically eligible.
  • Continuing NCSC/NCA players team are exempt from the regional eligibility requirement.
  • If NCSC fields too many out-of-district players, the club will be charged much higher field rental fees that would lead to greatly increased player fees club-wide.

What to wear and bring

Please do not wear any North Clackamas Alliance or other club’s uniforms to tryouts. Bring a ball (with your name and phone number clearly marked), cleats, shin guards, and a full water bottle.

Location

Tryouts will take place at Rex Putnam High School (4950 SE Roethe Rd, Milwaukie) and Alder Creek Middle School (13801 SE Webster Rd, Milwaukie).

Check-in at the NCA tent near the main entrance of either location.

Player tips

• Warm up with friends and make new connections.
• Be vocal and positive during play.
• Embrace mistakes as learning opportunities.
• Listen carefully to coaches’ instructions.

Acceptance process

Invitations will begin to go out once tryouts have concluded. Players will have 48 hours to accept. If a player’s invitation is not accepted, more invitations will be issued to other players. Remaining players will be notified when there are no more spots available.
