Kindi & MINI Program

Fun for our Littlest Players!

Pre-K - Kindy

Philosophy: At this age level our main goal is to get each child as many touches on the ball as possible. We want each player to become comfortable handling the ball, kicking the ball, passing the ball and interacting with the ball.
Our games are structured to reduce the amount of time the ball is “out of play” and down time in the games. Soccer is a game of skill and as with any skilled game, the only way to improve is to get more touches on the ball. So think touches, touches, touches, touches.

The Pre-K- Kindy game is all about having FUN!

1st Grade

Philosophy: At this stage of development, our foremost aim is to envelop each child in a dynamic experience with the ball, cultivating not just competence but a genuine comfort in handling, kicking, passing, and actively participating with the ball. Recognizing soccer as a nuanced game of skill, we emphasize that the pathway to improvement is paved with an abundance of touches on the ball. So, let’s echo the mantra of “touches, touches, touches, touches!” There are no goalies at this level and all activities, games, and scrimmages are teaching the fundamentals of the game while having FUN!

2nd Grade

Philosophy: Our primary focus at this developmental stage is to ensure that every child has time on the ball. We are dedicated to cultivating a sense of ease and proficiency in handling, kicking, passing, and active engagement with the ball for each player. Additionally, as these young athletes progress, we introduce selected official rules of the game to facilitate a seamless transition to the next grade level. Among the changes implemented are the incorporation of kick-offs, goal kicks, corner kicks, and throw-ins, providing a gradual introduction to aspects integral to soccer gameplay. This approach not only enhances their skills but also prepares them for the structured challenges they’ll encounter as they move into the 3rd grade age level. Still no goalies or headers! They will get there!
